BMS World Mission’s principal ministries are in the areas of church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, media & advocacy. Our aim is to deliver mission that cares for the whole person and is solidly founded in biblical principles.
The faithful giving of churches collectively allows us to represent you in world mission and every year we present an appeal to churches to prayerfully continue that support.
We recognise that Jesus met both the physical and spiritual needs of people and, in partnership with you, we aim to do the same today in around 40 countries worldwide.
Together with our partner organisations, we are committed to seeing lives changed forever through our holistic approach to mission. We help to meet people's immediate needs in their present circumstances, no matter who they are or what they believe. In doing that we are taking God's message of love and redemption to a needy world.
The figures for 2008/09
If your church calculates your giving on our per capita figure, the amount for 2008/09 is £41.50 per person in your church.
If your church budgets a set sum, then please consider a 5% increase on your giving last year.
