Good News in Kolkata?

Subir Roy works for Good News Children's Education Mission (GNCEM), a BMS partner organisation. They provide care for street children in Kolkata and run a hostel there.


GNCEM has recently built a new hostel for boys but cannot open it until an engineering report is approved by construction contractors. Please pray for the authorities concerned that they will act soon to allow the doors of the hostel to open, and allow children to live and study in a congenial atmosphere.

Many of the children that GNCEM care for have a chance of escaping the cycle of poverty by gaining a good academic and vocational education. Please uphold Subir and his colleagues so that work like this can continue.
