Petition against poverty

Banksy image or protest with heart, photo by David Boudreau
BMS World Mission has started a petition to hold the UK government to its commitments to end poverty. These commitments are formulated in the 'Millennium Development Goals' or MDGs.

Britain promised in 2000 to do everything in its power to make those goals a reality. We want to make sure they keep their promise.
Click here to view the petition. Send the link to all your friends. Promote it in your church. Guilt your friends into signing. Nag and nag and nag at people until they start nagging our government to make sure poverty is fought with weapons than can actually defeat it: government spending power and policies.

Visit our friends at Micah Challenge to find out more about the MDGs or join our Facebook group and invite all your friends to spread the word.
