Peter Harwood

Peter Harwood is a member of Horfield Baptist Church near Bristol and holds the post of buildings co-ordinator for his church, which involves driving the buildings development programme. He was a member of BMS General Committee from 2003. He is also a Director of Baptist House Limited. He was a BMS mission worker in Nepal from January 1993 to January 2002 as the project manager in the construction of a large hydropower plant project. Prior to work in Nepal his 25-year career with Shell International took him to work in several overseas locations and involved management of large multicultural teams. Peter went to Mongolia in August 2005 as a BMS volunteer to take up the position of interim executive director of JCS International to cover the home assignment of the current executive director. He returned to the UK in January 2006.
