BMS World Mission now offers opportunities for ministers to experience mission overseas as part of a team.
In December 2007/January 2008 we sent a team of women ministers to Angola and in November 2008 we sent a team of ministers to Kolkata.
In November 2009 we will be sending a team of ministers to visit our mission centre in Kolkata. The Ministers Team will spend time with local pastors, living and serving in local community in Kolkata. Kolkata is a city of incredible poverty, colour and culture, and one rich in (BMS) mission history and present mission need. This team will provide an opportunity to see the Church at work in a city of great need and experience Christianity and mission in a multi-faith culture.
The cost of the team will be approximately £1,000 per person.
