Our core business is to train people for cross-cultural mission with BMS World Mission.
We run a one-year foundation course in Mission Studies for those who are to serve long-term and we offer mission training weeks and weekends for solo volunteers, Church Teams and Summer Teams. We also train Action Teams, a BMS gap-year programme for the 18-25s. They come to us for selection, training and debrief and they know how to make the place buzz.
We are delighted to welcome external students for a full year or just for a term. Our one-year course has been designed for service with BMS but it provides excellent all-round training for cross-cultural mission with a focus on the following:
An exciting feature of the year is a cross-cultural placement, usually overseas, which we plan in consultation with each person concerned.
We welcome enquiries from mission agencies who want training for groups of students as well as individuals. We do our best to be flexible and we have a good range of options on offer.
