If you are inspired about the long-term programme the first thing to do is to talk to and pray with your church leader or other Christian friends. It is key that they support you in your application.
We see our job as working with you to discern if it is God's will for you to work overseas with BMS as a long term mission worker.
Check here the things you need to know before applying. Make sure you look at 'what might stop me from being accepted'.
If you would like to proceed then download an enquiry form on the right and send it back to us (using the details at the end of the form). Don't worry - you are not committing yourself to anything at this stage, just taking the first step in exploring the possibilities for God to use you.
This form covers the basic things we need to know about you in order to determine where best you might be able to serve.
If it looks as if we can use you we will then invite you in for a chat to the Didcot office.
The selection procedure for long term service is a fairly long one and you should allow at least six months before you want to start with BMS.
Remember BMS trains you before you go overseas and this usually starts in September of each year.
