BMS World Mission

Relief to Zimbabwe

20/08/2008

BMS World Mission is giving £23,400 to help in relief efforts in the troubled country of Zimbabwe.

As Zimbabwe’s economy slides further into ruinous decline, increasing numbers of people are facing the very real threat of starvation.

The grant will feed 3,000 people in 600 households in eight areas. Maize meal, sugar beans and cooking oil will be bought in neighbouring Botswana and distributed over the next three months.
