This Dark World
This Dark World is an innovative DVD from BMS World Mission, now available free of charge.
Filmed in Bangkok, the documentary explores mission on the front line of spiritual warfare in the context of the international sex industry. The programme is presented by Pete James, a singer-songwriter and worship leader, who composed two songs in response to what he encountered. Both of those songs, God, are you there? and Mr Free Man feature on this DVD.
Packaged in the style of a music DVD, this video extends the symbolism of presenting an entertaining surface whilst delivering something much tougher. This is the way the sex industry sells itself - superficially entertaining whilst hiding a destructive reality.
Suitable for individual viewing, the DVD also includes a small group study that would be suitable as a one-off home group resource.
