Primary School Teacher in Nepal
Tansen Hospital in Nepal is looking for a teacher for Tansen Tutorial Group, a small primary school that provides education for the children of long-term mission doctors. The post would be part of our Volunteer Programme, serving from six months to two years.
The hospital has two fully-equipped classrooms with outside space. The role would suit someone who has recently retired or someone with a little experience looking to test their call to serve overseas.
The curriculum is based on that in the UK, and all teaching is done in English. Children come from Norway, Sweden, South Korea, North America, Australia and the UK. From June to December there will be four children in the school, aged from five to nine years old. From January 2012 the numbers are expected to increase to seven.
