BMS Day of prayer

 Hi Everyone, Its the Thailand Action Team here :) We just thought it would be good to give you a quick update on how we spent the BMS day of prayer...

This morning, around 20 of us, including The Maycock family and various Ajans from the Bible School, gathered in the Women's building at Siloam Bible Institute, Chiang Mai, to pray for the work of BMS around the world. Working alongside Pete and Lizz Maycock to prepare for the morning, we decided to be creative with the time, and so set up 6 different prayer stations around the room. Each station represented a different area of the world in which BMS works, and as well as showing the relevant Action Team videos at some stations, we also provided prayer pointers and ways in which people could respond. We were unsure of how the Karen people would respond to this different way of prayer, and we were conscious of the language difficulties that could arise. However, praise God, as we had a brilliant morning worshipping and praying for BMS in each region of the world. We began with a time of worship, before heading off to the different stations. We then met again for a time of prayer specifically focused on Thailand, where we wrote prayers on a piece of material, which can be kept as a reminder of the work that God is doing in this beautiful country. 

Overall, it was a wonderful morning where we really felt God's presence and were just able to spend some time focusing on the incredible things He is doing through BMS, and praising God for his goodness to us.
