Broadening Our Horizions

 Bienvenido to another Peru Action Team Blog!

So, the work for the Febuary Holiday Club continues, and with the days counting down, we are working hard to get it all done in time!

On Sunday mornings, Rob has taken over the role of 'tech guy' as Scott is on holiday. He is relishing in all the cables, sound levels and projection equipment! We are all starting to get involved in the Sunday School, helping one of the Peruvian teenagers who has taken on the responsibility since the Roper's left in December. 

Whilst Scott and family have been away, we've gotten to know some of the other members of the congregation a lot better. With spent a lot of time with a couple called Joy and Jordan and their children; they're missionaries from the States and have become good friends of ours. We've also been seeing a lot of another couple Luis and Cecilia, and their daughter. Luis and Cecilia are Peruvian, but lived in America for 10 years. We find great sources of encouragment ad laughter! It's been really interesting to see other peoples view of mission!

The Church used to have seperate meetings for men's and women's bible studies, but now they have decided to merge those meetings, and so, on a Thursday night, the brothers and sisters of El Puente come together for a time of singing, exploring God's Word and learning more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus. 

On Sunday, we're taking our mid-term break and are heading off to Areaquipa, so we won't be able to update the blog (sorry, we now that this news will cause mass dissappiontment!).
