Using superb pictures of the natural environment across the globe and how humankind has impacted upon it, this journalist provides an overview of environmental issues such as pollution, over-use of resources and climate change.

The format is attractive with quotes and case studies, making it a good value coffee-table book. The images are timeless but some of the text is already outdated, an inevitability in these rapidly-changing topics. Good presentation takes priority over accurate science.

Reference to anything Christian is limited. However there are many web addresses for the reader to get further information.
