Pray for Afghanistan (22-28 April)

April will be the month of the Asia Retreat where workers from Afghanistan, Nepal, India and Thailand will meet for a time of renewal and refreshment.

We pray that this time together will be energising in preparation for the long hot summer ahead.

Pray for:

• A BMS family as they settle in a new area to work in a community development project.
• A BMS worker in an education project, as there is a desperate need to teach ex-pat children in Afghanistan.
• Another BMS who ask that “the true light may shine through them” as they go about their lives in Kabul.
• House-bound women who have been learning basic business and literacy skills that they may inspire others.
• A BMS worker asks for prayer for the final planning of a mental health project.
• A BMS couple working in finance and HR – that they may have productive outcomes in their work.
• Those preparing to come to Afghanistan both long-term and short-term, that they will feel supported as they make their final preparations.
