Transforming lives on four continents

Pray for Angola (30 January - 5 February)

Posted by bms_prayer at 00:00 on 30th January 2011

The country of Angola is being influenced more and more by the Chinese who are involved in mining, road building and other huge construction projects.

Various large commercial enterprises are also starting up; the majority of these come from Islamic countries.

Pray for:

  • Pastor Nafilo as he not only leads the National Baptist Church (IEBA) but also pastor of a large growing inner city church.
  • The work of IEBA different departments, which includes medical, education, development and church planting departments.
  • Fiona Welsh as she develops various church projects and programmes.
  • The recently appointed national PEPE co-ordinator and two regional PEPE co-ordinators.
  • Lynne Brown as she prioritises her work responsibilities.
  • Students at the theological seminary preparing for future pastoral leadership.
  • The majority of people in Angola who find it hard to scrape a living and are often unable to receive good education and medical care because of limited resources.
