UPDATE: Pray for top disabled archer Robert Shaw

“I was not successful in making an impression at the events for London 2012. I did win two medals – one national and one international – but had three equipment malfunctions in the ranking event. My next step is to start working up to next year’s World Championships and Development Squad for 2016.
“Having previously worked without a coach for a long time, I have found at this event a coach who specialises in para-coaching.
My attempt was a long shot and I had to hold out hopes until there was no hope. There is still work to do at a grassroots level with young and other age groups. I hope that I can use what I’ve done to help others.
”Please continue to pray for Robert – in his sport and in his witness.

With the 2012 Paralympic Games racing towards us, this is an important week for Robert Shaw, the top Great British Christian wheelchair archer who features in BMS’ Undefeated resource.
Robert (right) is competing against the world’s best at the British Wheelchair Archery Association’s Invitational Event at Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire – a crucial event because it will determine his world ranking.
The key dates for Robert competing are tomorrow (26 June), which is the 720 shoot competition, and Thursday and Friday (28 & 29 June), which are head-to-head competitions.
Please pray that God would help Robert compete well, that he would give him a steady hand and a clear mind, and that Robert would continue to do everything to glorify God.
Watch the preview of Undefeated – and order the resource to hear from Robert and other disabled athletes talking about their lives, their hopes and their faith.

I agree with anonymous person. it's sad that he didnt get through but why focus on just one person. its great that you are doing undefeated but i hope it isnt just attention seeking dont forget that there is more than just the paralympics!
Why are you just praying for this one person? Surely we should be praying for all christian athletes and not just the ones that have endorsed BMS DVD's
