William Carey - Journal Extracts DVD

A new DVD to mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of William Carey.

In June 1793, at the age of 32, Carey set sail for India with his family, with the aim of evangelising the nation. He kept a journal, which he intended to send back to the newly-formed Baptist Missionary Society.

The stories in this film are drawn directly from Carey's journal, describing some of his early experiences in his own words.
